About this camera
A 4G solar trail camera for the spot you can't check every week. It sends photos and video clips to the Ucon app on your phone over the mobile network, runs on a solar panel and three removable batteries, and has a microphone and speaker so you can talk through it from the app.
Made for Australian networks
- Works on the Australian 4G bands, including Band 28 (700 MHz), the band Telstra relies on in the country. Confirmed for Australia by the manufacturer (30 September 2026).
- Put in a prepaid SIM, strap it up, walk past it.
- Stuck? We set it up with you on a call, and stay on it until the first photo lands.
What it does
- Sends photos and video clips to the app on your phone over 4G, and streams live view. No WiFi needed at the camera.
- Solar panel plus three removable 2600mAh batteries, so there are no AA cells to buy.
- PIR motion sensor: the camera fires when an animal or a person moves in front of it. Sensitivity and trigger interval are set in the app.
- Infrared night vision for black-and-white photos after dark.
- Two-way audio: built-in microphone and speaker, used from the app.
- Takes a microSD card up to 128GB, with a cloud storage option in the app.
- IP65 weather rating (manufacturer's figure). Mounts on a tree or a post, no mains power.

Questions about this camera
Will it work on my property?
If a phone shows one bar or more of 4G where the camera will stand, a 4G camera with that network's SIM will usually work there too. If it doesn't, the Signal Guarantee gives you a full refund with return postage paid.
Is there a subscription?
Not with us. You need a SIM card with some data, which usually costs $10 to $15 a month on prepaid. See the SIM and data guide.
Which network works in the bush?
Telstra reaches further than the others across most of rural Australia, but the only thing that counts is the bar count at the exact tree the camera will sit on. Walk out with your phone and check there, not at the house. The SIM and data guide goes through it.
Will a trail camera spook deer or pigs?
A no-glow camera uses infrared LEDs made to avoid the red glow of a standard infrared flash. Mount it above eye line, angled down the pad, and then leave it alone: the walk in to pull a card does far more damage than the camera ever will. A 4G camera sends the photos to your phone, so you can stay out of the country until the morning you hunt it.
