About KelpieCam

A kelpie is the working dog of Australian stations. It keeps an eye on the whole mob from first light to dark, through the heat and the dust, and nothing slips past it. That is the job we ask of a trail camera. KelpieCam sells trail cameras to Australian hunters, landholders and wildlife people, and stays with you until the camera works where you put it.

Why we started

We read what Australians say about trail cameras, and it was the same story over and over. The camera from the big-box store lasted a summer. The battery that was meant to go six months went six days. The cheap one off a marketplace never connected at all. And the specialist stores sold good gear, then left you alone with a SIM card and a settings menu.

The cameras were never the real problem. The problem was getting one that works, on your network, on your tree or your post. So that is the job we took on.

Who we are

KelpieCam is an online store run by 304 Holdings LLC. Orders ship from our fulfilment partner's warehouse outside Australia. We don't have a showroom, and we won't pretend to be the shop down the road. What we do have is one job, which is to make sure the camera you buy from us works where you put it. Judge us on that.
