Definitions

"Site" means kelpiecam.com and its content. "User" means any person who visits the Site. "Customer" means a User who buys from us. "Content" means all text, images, video, graphics, logos, guides and other material on the Site. "Personal information" has the meaning given in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Use of the Site

Using the Site means you accept our Terms of Service, and buying from it means you accept our Terms of Sale. The Site is normally available at all times, but we or our host may interrupt it for maintenance or technical reasons. The Site and its Content are protected by Australian and international copyright and trade mark law. KelpieCam and the KelpieCam logo are our trade marks. Third-party brand and network names that appear on the Site (for example memory-card brands or mobile carriers) belong to their respective owners. Their use is descriptive only and does not imply sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation.

Accuracy of information

We take care to keep the Site accurate and up to date, but information can contain errors or become outdated. We only publish technical figures we can stand behind, and product photos are indicative. Our guides (setup, SIM and data, cameras and the law, what a camera won't do) are general information, not professional, technical or legal advice tailored to your situation. This does not limit any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law in relation to products you buy from us.

Cameras and the law

Surveillance and privacy laws differ between Australian states and territories. Customers are responsible for installing and using their camera lawfully, including where it is pointed, whether it records audio, and whether they have permission to leave it on land they do not own. Reviews and customer content

Reviews shown on the Site come from verified customers. We do not write, buy or edit the substance of reviews, and we do not offer incentives in exchange for positive reviews. We may remove content that is unlawful, offensive or misleading. By sending us a review or photo you give us permission to publish it as described in our Terms of Service.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss caused by your use of the Site, by information on it, by an interruption of the Site, or by third-party sites we link to. Nothing in this notice excludes, restricts or modifies the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
